The Golf Club Of Oklahoma first opened in 1984. The golf course was designed by Tom Fazio.

The signature hole on this course is #17, a par 3, requiring a downhill tee shot to a peninsula green. Ranked by "Golf Digest" as one of the top-four courses in Oklahoma by Golf Digest in May 2005, the 7,183-yard par 72 course features rolling terrain, towering oaks and natural bodies of water. Several tee placements allow golfers the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed round from the 6,211-yard member tees or move to the championship tees and experience one of the country’s sternest tests of golf.
